The Wave Makers
The Wave Makers is Champ Water’s youth media program built to give the next generation of creators a platform to grow, create, and tell the stories of Vermont sports. What started as a water company quickly became something bigger — a community built around athletes, teams, energy, and the moments that bring people together. The Wave Makers exists to put cameras, opportunities, and real experience into the hands of young photographers, videographers, editors, and storytellers who want to be part of that movement.
This program is designed for emerging creators who are passionate about sports, content, and creativity. Members of The Wave Makers help capture the emotion, intensity, and culture surrounding Vermont athletics while building their own portfolios, growing their networks, and learning alongside the Champ Water team. From game-day photography and hype videos to behind-the-scenes storytelling and social content, The Wave Makers is about giving young talent a chance to create something real, be part of a brand with purpose, and help shape the future of sports culture in Vermont.
